I have been using my N95 with Joikuspot.com it make me turn the 3G brodband network into Wlan.
The N95 becomes a WLAN router / modem, i.e have my Lap connected to internet.
will this type of router app be possible on a N900 ?

Please see the existing thread, "N900 as a Wifi Hotspot".

If the wifi driver supports access point mode, yes, it is possible (in fact it's just a matter of setting the mode and eventually running hostapd if you want wpa).
If it doesn't, I guess you could always setup an ad-hoc network.
Routing between 3g and wifi shouldn't be a problem (nat was a bit tricky, if not impossible, on current devices, it has to be seen if the n900 kernel has been compiled with all the necessary modules).
