I've started dipping my toes in the developer's pool, and I've compiled "jpegtran", "ren", and "fdupes" for Diablo. If anyone else wants them, they're in a tar file at http://www.gis.net/~zohn194/3apps.tgz

I think if you want your work to be useful it is feasible to package them and put to the repository. Either your own, or extras

At the very least make deb packages and put them here, so they don't dissapear in the future
