I am planning vacations to some rural area with tablet (galaxy tab 16Gb) and my Nokia N9 64Gb and so got an idea to use N9 as a storage for files needed while travelling. Unfortunately it appeared that even though tablet supports external flash drives it doesn't work with my Nokia due to power limitations. I assume that this is because N9 starts charging from USB if plugged even in USB drive mode. So the question: is there a way to disable USB charging on N9 and let it work as usual USB flash drive.

Thanks,
Serge.

If you go that way, remove only the red wire (+Vcc = power).
The black wire (GND = 0V = ground) is required for the signal pins to work.
