Great work - and thanks for doing this.

It's not working just quite yet.

the ip_queue kernel module insmod'ed, no problem.

However, a few iptables errors got printed out when zfoned started.

See a full error log here: http://www.dubfire.net/zfone-bug.txt

Perhaps you could enable DEBUG mode in the next version you compile, so that I can give you better feedback?

My suspicion is that perhaps we're missing another kernel module for some netfilter/iptables feature that it's using? (Perhaps whatever module does packet marking?)

Oh and please PM me your email address so that I can communicate properly

Cheers

Chris

Hmm, I get the same errors on my Ubuntu development machine.

Email me /var/log/zfone* please?

When I make an echo call using FWD and SIP, ZFone is correctly tagging the call and looking for a (non-existent) ZRTP peer.

Grab a (free) FWD account and we can get this party started!

Hi guys,

This is an excellent project you are working on - any further progress ? I'd be particularly interested if this could work on the 770 too.

regards

Many issues.

haven't try the sdhc fix yet but that was my main concern

Kicking this back in to gear now that I have a full development environment going again.

I'm aiming to have some packages by this weekend, and if there are a few people (genome4hire has already volunteered) ready on FWDSIP (or some other free service) to help me test, that would rather rock.

Since this requires kernel modules, it's going to require root and xterm. There is a small-but-nonzero chance that a reflash or kernel-reflash will be required, but since that wasn't an issue last time, it shouldn't be a problem.

Steps to take before this weekend:
Verify PC-to-PC calls
Verify PC-to-IT calls
Verify IT-to-PC calls
Verify IT-to-IT calls
Verify PC-to-PC calls with ZFone

Once we have all five of those checked off, we can start really evaluating ZFone on the IT.

I'll post alpha packages here ASAP.

(After swearing at Java and XULRunner for a few days, it's going to be a relief to work in plain old C. )
