Hi Tuminoid, can you please tell me the location of the icons that this applet runs from - modded the status area of my phone to be all chromey and the only thing that doesn't fit now is the CPU-Mem applet - this is still white.... Would appreciate it if you could let me know - thanks

haha yes you right.
hmm i searched the whole filesystem with midnight commander but cant find any cpumem or cpumem-applet file.
i hope that tuminoid will help us so my phone can be a perfect beauty.

Thanks mate - guess a facelift on this is out of the question in that case.... I thought it would be based on the same premise as the other icons with an icon-set that varied according the load, but obviously not..... Thanks for clarifying

Unfortunately I've had to uninstall cpumem-applet, as it seems to be the cause of high cpu usage.
With it installed it caused my hildon-desktop process to always be taking up about 15% cpu.
Anyone else experience this?

I've no idea where the bug is, but I think you are probably right that it's in hildon-desktop. Other people seem to be having similar problems with hildon-desktop using about 15% at idle.
