Hi All,

After having to recently reflashing a "reboot loop" N900, I was very greatful to have a backup even though it was at least a month out of date.

I was wondering if it's possible to set up some kind of scheduled backup, using the built in backup app.

Not sure if there is some kind of task scheduler (like in windows) behind the scenes on the N900, that could be set to run a backup like 1 day a week or something.

It'd be nice if such a feature could be built in to the Backup App! But not sure if that's possible without Nokia!

Many thanks,
Dex

I would also be interested in a solution for this. Would a brainstorm be an appropriate approach?

EDIT:
Added a brainstorm for this:

Thanks very much.

I still don't fully get how the brainstorms work and what their purpose is, but I know it's a good thing! lol.

It would be great if this could backup via WiFi to a remote computer as well.

I nearly got burnt today by not having a recent back, and found this old post linking to a Brainstorm. Is the Backup applicaton a closed source component? I was thinking of adding this to the Community SSU wish list, just after some thoughts.
