Drop the ringtone Detective_Dan_-_I_love_you into your MyDocs folder

Start up your terminal
devel-su
rootme

cd /home/user/MyDocs/
cp -R Detective_Dan_-_I_love_you /usr/shared/sounds....

That's it.

You know if you put your music into the Music Folder of My Docs you can choose to use them as a ringtone from the settings menu, right?

Thanks again Arie, but you've got me stumped with that ringtone... what would be the accomplishment of your suggestion?

And yes, I know about Music/MyDocs for dropping ringtones into - that's where I'm at right now - but I prefer to have a 'clean/polished' file system if you know what I mean? Plus I still need the root permissions for other stuff.

Skipping the need to cp -R the stuff into your root system.

Root permission is granted by
devel-su

The red arrow means it is not syncing and disappears when connection with Internet is reestablished and it syncs. Overall the phone has some interesting features but is a stillborn. I personally like the lock app, football app and flAshlight

Can we rename this thread to "N9 Recommended Apps". As I know we will get another new user asking the same thing.
