hmm weird it's gotten stuck on the nokia screen for me after BSW

edit: full reflash firmware, kernel and emmc and still same problem, after BSW how long is it supposed to stay on the Nokia logo?

had to do a full reflash again for it to work.

delete these 3 folders

/home/.aegis/

Reboot phone.
And then you have the read-only certificates problem, and the maps cache problem, and the nped/positioningd crash problem, even the booster starts doing something weird I still don't fully understand.

So your device will start leaking battery life everywhere and you'll ask yourself why.

Backup. Reflash. You won't have any problems then. And this way you ensure you KNOW how to do it in case problems actually arise.

EDIT: But please ensure you really flash the proper version for your device.

@Jalyst, wolke

wolke summarized openmode tutorial nicely for PR1.1
http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...9&postcount=43

What needs to be changed to update this using openmode PR1.2?

@openmode users:
I am stuck at what would be the next steps. Which aegisfs directories do I have to delete? I know there are some, can't find the thread where it was mentioned.

Nothing ! Except that you should now use this kernel : http://maemo.cloud-7.de/HARM/N9/1.2/...dfl61-20115101 (or any other! at your discretion)

If you followed those steps, it is not necessary to delete any aegisfs dirs.

Whoops? I thought your post #232 said that you succeeded in removing them, now all those apps work (except device locking)..
I concluded that this needs to be done.

Well, that makes it easier. Thanks!!

can the first post be amended since i downloaded the open mode kernel for 1.1 onto a 1.2 which seems what caused the crash.
