Seems like Opera is ignoring the proxy settings.

the way opera handles zooming and blocks of text annoys me to no end.

i seem to continually fight the horizontal scroll as it wants to stick to some other text block then i want, resulting in something being off screen. This being when i read pages that use a "thread" setup for comments on articles and such.

and while i enjoy mobile view on a small phone, using it on the N800 basically defeats the reason for the screen on said device.

Anyone having a problem with getting opera to install on PR 1.2, remember to edit the catalog, and change the distribution from fremantle-1.2 to fremantle.

Sites like cnn.com are plain screaming for me. But sites like dealnews.com are just slow. I am noticing though, once I go there once, when I go back, even with new content, it's a ton faster.

On my N810, I've found my alternative. I have had one sudden close though - it was on a Ajax heavy site. And don't even try netvibes.com - you could create a child in that delay.
