Emumaster should play sound. I just checked; it does for me.
Have you tried the simple stuff – like turning up the volume and making sure audio is enabled (in the emumasters settings).

Sound works indeed but the sound is off in many games specially SNES games. There's an update on the way though that's supposed to take care of that.

Well, the sound problem might be from the ROM. Worth noting.
