hello
i can't access via usb my N9 device
i plug my device
then i choose sdk mode
in my host in root i execute : ifconfig usb0 192.168.2.15 up
after i can try ssh :
ssh developer@192.168.2.15
i find the password in the sdk panel of the n9
but it don't work
i tried to change it but no difference
i tried to launch terminal in the n9
going to root mode
and changed the password for developer user
but no result

nevertheless in wifi it's ok

what can i try ?

ifconfig usb0 192.168.2.14 up

its not nice try to connect localhost and expect to connect to device.

made me laugh

i must execute ifconfig usb0 192.168.2.15 up in order to ssh the device
if don"t execute this command i can't have a response from my device
where is the problem ?
the real problem is why the developer user password don't work in usb

seriously think about it, what you're saying doesn't make sense
phone ip is .15
computer is .14

the real problem is why the developer user password don't work in usb
it require the RNDIS driver for N9.. when your N9 is connected to your pc then go to device manager and check whether it have the drivers for N9 under network and adapters...

**Note: it takes time to actually display the info there.. just wait for 5 min and let me know...

Or you can install the drivers manually from windows driver directory..
