this application showed up in the ovi store.

looks good....bought it, and says it is active.

i try to swype the kb accross but still only get the swype and the standard kb.

anyone know how to get this to work?

here is the link to the youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-eT_tGH7p4

here is the text:

Oltre all'inserimento vocale, QVIK permette l'inserimento dello spazio,
l'invio/a capo.
and translated into english:

QVIK has landed in the Ovi Store by Nokia: the Quick Voice Input Keyboard
is a keyboard that is used to write with the voice, bridging a gap that
Nokia N9 had, compared to iOS and Android.
By downloading this plug-in will enable Nokia N9 to vocal writing
for SMS, email, notes, and to search in the phone book and
the web.
By pressing the MIC and speaking into the microphone of Nokia N9, QVIK
is able to transform your voice into text.
QVIK makes use of Google services speech (you then need to be
on line for its operation, such as iOS and Android) and capture the
phrases in all languages supported by Google's speech, but is
been tested only in Italian, Spanish, French, English and German.
In addition to vocal, QVIK allows the inclusion of space,
Delete character by character with backspace and
the enter/return.

Yep, says in one review or two that a reboot is needed to get it to be swipeable in the keyboards.
Let me know how it is if you don't mind. I was just looking at it and don't know if it'll be worth it.

It's ok, it works well enough, it won't replace texting for me though....

Yea agree with the battery drain. It does what it's supposed to do but the loss of battery life may not be worth it. As long as it's not activated it doesn't affect the battery though. Wouldn't be using it much unless there's an update to solve that

Where's the Nokia Store link...
That's a shame, sounds like it would've been great if it weren't for the drain.

Yeah it did what it says but the drain is to much. It puts about 10%loaf on cpu at all times.

The problem has been solved in the next release, that now is under store's QA review. I think it'll be online in the next few days, maybe monday or tuesday.

I have put my email address on the store's page, when something doesn't work properly I'm happy to help solving issues.

Cheers,
Patrizio
