hi

i need to save a file to the audio folder on the internal memory of a n810. can you please tell me the internal memory path?

Wait do you mean internal memory as in

1) The ROM, which is /home/user/MyDocs/.sounds

2) The 2 GB card, which is /media/mmc2/

Usually, people mean the second, so.....

What is visible as main memory in applications is /home/user/MyDocs.
Where you start in the shell in the xterm is /home/user.
The builtin subdirectories of MyDocs are hidden (in UNIX, this is accomplished by starting their names with .) so that they don't show up in the file manager; instead, an item with the appropriate (localized) name shows up. They include:
/home/user/MyDocs/.documents
/home/user/MyDocs/.games
/home/user/MyDocs/.images
/home/user/MyDocs/.sounds
/home/user/MyDocs/.videos
