Hi,

I had a N900 for about 3 years, used with mild overclocking it eventually made RAM/NAND unusable, couldn't keep anything on memory anymore.

I moved to a S3 mini and recently to a LG G3, and I can't say how much I still miss my N900 and the HWKB. Oh well we gotta get on with life, right...

I've had my N900 in a box for over 1 year now. I have been getting into arduino and rasperry pi; and I have already successfully salvaged electronics from harddrives, printers, and reused them for arduino projects.

The N900 has a lot of components that I would like to reuse. GPS, LCD, Blueooth, battery+charging system.

Anybody here gone into this yet?

Use the case and pre-order a Neo900?

I doubt there are that many components on the N900 you will be able to reuse. AFAIK there is not enough data available on any of the major parts (cellular modem, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth etc) to be able to use them on your own boards and that's assuming you can de-solder and re-solder such tiny hard-to-work-with surface mount chips in the first place.
