Cool! Thanks for the review Reggie, I'll take note of the suggestions.
Just a comment: Maemo WordPy is being renamed to MaStory (there's a package in Extras-testing with that name yet).
I know it will be confusing at first but I think it's a better name for the future and the coming events.

It will go to Extras when 10 testers give thumbs up to it. I think it's prepared for Extras, so let's see.

Ooooh, and here I wish I could play.
Yerga; any plans on taking MaStory/WordPy into a fully Qt app for the 3.0 version (really asking more so that I could get the app on my N97 than anything else)?
EDIT: yes, I'm biased as all get out towards MaStory/WordPy

I'm starting to learn C++ and Qt, so in one year from now I think that something can be possible. Let's say Fixed in Harmattan ;-)
Qt has some important advantages in this case, for example, is very easy to have two views, one with HTML code (like it's now), and other with real formatting of the text.

- bug on main page where second post appears twice as the latest post (see first screenshot in review)
- some typos on status of posts and comments: publish -> published and approve -> approved
- a default image resize width in the settings - dialing down to 500px everytime takes too much time
- any way to use standard html tags for text appearance like <i></i> instead of using spans?
- add comment date column on Manage Comments screen
- request for image watermarking feature -- superimpose a .png image logo on top (lower right or left) of image
- a neat addon is a video (youtube, vimeo, ovi, etc) embed option where you just specify the video id

first off, thanks for creating this (and also the S60 version).
Have you looked at PyQT or PySide for using the QT stuff with your exisiting code base?
and now some observations or enhancement requests;
* offfline mode
* allow selection of blog when saving drafts or publish

* store posts, drafts locally and then sync up (this works on the S60 version already?)* use more "standard" icons on the post edit screen
* follow wordpress, media wiki, blogger etc conventions ( "globe with chain" is the insert link icon, bold is strong B etc)
* any way to get "tool tips" or text?* remove publish icon. Change it to a menu option, and add a save as draft option as well!

current method only posts to whatever is set as default
