My N9 was fully charged, but it went down in few hours...

44ma is not that big of a deal.
Anyway, the N9 has terrible battery.... so what can you do

On good days mine is 83mA otherwise its ~100mA...Don't fret you have a long way to go

also this battery monitoring program is gonna give you only headaches.
uninstall it and don't care about the so called "battery consumption" every 10 minutes
