Hey all, quite simple really, Droid n12 trying to get chain fire going but it's refusing to install the cf3d driver saying not enough space need 18565649 bytes or something in /system, device rooted I think could it be a permission error or?

All help appreciated,
Cheers, Catalog

Whats CF3D driver?

We don't have full phone access really. We are using hacked together omap/3D drivers.

Umm I think he meant NITDroid,
and he posted in the alternative section, so umm.. yeah.

CF3D driver in chainfire 3D allows the user to use plugins to re-identify the device as another Qualcomm Tegra...
Go to Maemo, uninstall some apps and free some space in home.

There was a user in another thread saying update/install super user and super user fix, i try this but it fails on updating the current super user (Saying unsigned package or something) and the updater does some random stuff which will probably brick my droid :P

Really want this working though, i think its some form of permission issue with /system personally but im not sure, need to try register on NITDROID forum to poke there, although surely someone knows how to fix this?

I had problems with this to.. It's becouse the mounts is defferent on nitdroid then it normally is on a android phone, and therefore it's having trouble remounting /system with rw permissions. You could try remounting yourself though terminal emulator or adb shell (if that working?) then it'll probably work.

Edit: I'm not using my n900 that much anymore becouse I "upgraded" to a real android device, and it's also kind of late, otherwise I would break out my n900 and give you more detailed instructions. But, I guess you'll figure it out. If adb is working, you could try a adb remount, that remounts all partitions with rw permissions on my rooted android-device atleast.
