No way would i.
I was a Nokia fanboy until the N900 was released having nothing but Nokias over the past 15 years, all that has changed now, they have lost their crown and in my opinion i can't see them ever regaining it.

I voted No because I know my friends would get frustrated very quickly with its peculiarities. BUT...it is a perfect little machine for my own (non-technical) needs: I have 40GB music on it, call with Skype while traveling, make great-looking pictures, etc. So I certainly do not regret buying it.
Its only weakness imho is that it invites the user to experiment with it, and that leads often to problems (which are usually resolvable with the help of this forum) :-).

yes...then after a month I'd look for their ad on craigslist/ebay and buy it on the cheap.

with friends like me ...

Same here since 2000 nokia user, so bad that this sh@#$% make us change our opinion... but i had enough this is the last nokia i have after this ill get something else compare to this sh@#$% SYMBIAN was heaven!!!!!!!

so bad i didnt wait for the N8

I did, but with a stern warning that it's not for a person lookin' for an iPhone/Android alternative. They didn't listen, now he's bored with it!

Yupp been there, ended up as 24/7 support...
He now runs a HTC legend.
