OK, so there's some mutterings on Twitter about Nokia World attendees and non-attendees who are local to London having a meetup dinner sometime during the week.

So here's a thread for trying to organise this thing. We'll find somewhere close to the NW venue, for the convenience of attendees, but what evening is best for everyone? There's a Nokia Maps thing on Tuesday and I personally can't do that evening anyway, but all other nights I'm free - when is everyone else free? Let's try a poll.

Wednesday night is usually some kind of Nokia World party - although it's less clear what'll be going on this year.

So, having said that, my vote's for Thursday as a preference.

I am arriving Monday at LHR, 10:45 AM and have all that day/night to socialize (still hoping to find someone who can meet me at airport and hang out that day).

Leaving early Thursday unfortunately as I could not get a late flight. Will be attending Nokia Dev Champion event Tues and Nokia World event Wednesday.

I'm surely free 27th and 28th.
On Monday is a bit more difficult for me and on Tuesday I'll be at the Nokia Maps party at the BFI in London. A drink before that is also possible

I can bring a Nokia 770 (OS2006), a Nokia N810 (can't remember), a Nokia N8 (Anna 025.007), a Nokia N9, (PR1.0) a Nokia 950 (PR1.1) and two Nokia N900s (one will have Mer).

The Excel Centre is a pain to get to unless you're actually going there! Is there any chance of meeting somewhere a little easier for non-attendees and still in that direction? Perhaps near Liverpool Street/Bank/Tower Bridge (Tower Hill on Tube map)? Just an idea - not really an issue if no one's coming from elsewhere!

If you go around tower bridge, a free beer (as in free beer) is negociable

Great idea guys. I'm only around Wednesday night so obviously that would be good for me.

I'm arriving Tuesday morning and leaving Thursday afternoon, so either Tuesday and Wednesday is fine for me.
I would propose (without looking who can be there, just throwing an idea) Wednesday after the 'official' party. We could just sneak out and continue on our own....
