If I use NSU to reinstall the latest firmware for the N900, does it perform a flash of the emmc aswell, or if I want to flash emmc must I use flasher?

I don't think you can flash your N900 with NSU. Even if you can, I bet it won't flash eMMC.
The best thing to do is to flash eMMC and RootFS with maemo flasher.

NSU can be used (?) right nw it's telling me to agree that all the device content will be removed during the update.. which was why I asked if it did the emmc
