Couldnt really find the answer anywhere, if there is one and I missed it I apologize for the thread.

My question is, since the n900 and n9 are in a way very similar, is its possible that all the .deb files that I installed onto the n900 will work if I install them onto the n9?

Things I bought from the ovi store, or sygic etc?

What about commandline tools?
Also, isn't harmattan hardfp compiled while fremantle is not?

That is probably the main problem together with missing dependencies & generally a bit different environment that applications that were packaged for Fremantle might not take be prepared for.

I've used some command line tools (telnet comes to mind) from fremantle in my N9. Simple ones with no or few dependencies are most likely to work.
