Can you stream an audio mp3 from a website on the N900?

Specifically this one:

I just tried. doesn't seem to work from the link. I don't know much about podcasts but I'm sure you can using something like gPodder.

Same.

It works with gPodder. Add http://newsdailypodcast.cnet.com/ as feed and you will get the episode list.

its working for me. I should also mention that i did install the gstreamer codec and mplayer from the extra-testing repository.

pretty sure you can do shoutcasts as well

edit: just tested it, it streams through media player, just go to shoutcast.com and pick a stream!

works just fine nothing extra installed

plays right in the browser

sites like di.fm though, launch via the media player

just tried and it seems to work for me as well, nothing extra installed

note there is a slight pause after i entered the address and then the page came up, I click on the play icon and there's a slight pause and then you hear it.

its nothing special, your standard symbian nseries would be able to pull this off
