Yep, just refreshed my programlist but download is pretty slow (would take probably 1 hour to download instead of a few seconds which it takes normally). Will try it a bit later (or tomorrow morning). Is youtube in the main setup or do i have to download an addon ?

I really can't wait to try out, keep it going.

You'll have to install it as a separate add-on. They can't include it with the main installation due to legal issues, and it hasn't been released yet. Maybe a few days.

Edit: I see no blue theme! >_<

Hello everyone,

We know everyone is expecting youtube and last.fm but we are not adding them to the default package, but instead they will be here on the website in the "add-ons" section. Why there's nothing there right now? Well, we did a lot of changes in the architecture to support third party plugins (youtube can be considered one) so we need at least to make sure things are ok before releasing this plugins.

We need your help : use canola2 beta6 as much as possible, and if tomorrow (friday) everything looks good we will upload the youtube packages for you.

Anyways, we are also going to release tomorrow the blue theme, the simple red and black theme and as requested by users the backgrounds and some more goodies.

New view for current podcast downloads; shows information about the download.
Newly organized podcast menu with new submenus such as "Today's episodes", "New episodes" (Episodes that have been downloaded and have not yet been played).
Podcast also give a visual clue to whether an episode has been played or not.
Podcast better ensures state when exiting Canola during download.
Fixed problems with showing wrong download progress for some podcast episodes while scrolling the list.

WTF.. thank you... but I can't see videos, why?

Just updated to beta6 and even before I saw the release notes, I noticed and really appreciate the updates to the Podcast section. VERY nice to have the "Today's Episodes" option. Thanks! I'll be using this a lot over the next 24 hours and will give any feedback I can find worth sending!

@Netss (boring questions) did you checked the video folder on the media library section on the settings ?

We tested pretty much, and the scanner is much more reliable now, so investigate a little bit more there, if there's a bug we will fix it today, and release a update for critical bugs asap.
