I am getting md5sum mismatches all the time, that is fifth time. The checksum i am getting from md5sum is always the same. Could this really be an corrupted download, or is the script now downloading something else??? Note the '302 Moved Temporarily' please.

then i installed xarchiver from software manager..
then repeated the same command in x-terminal and it started downloading about 608 MB of n9/n950 emmc...then in 5 minutes root directory was created....
