Isn't an entire lifetime a limited period of time? Does the EULA define what that period is? Distributing something you received a link to via email is clearly illegal and the EULA confirms that, but having the file you downloaded from them wouldn't be illegal. It also gives permission to create a backup of the file. If said backup is on a write once media, are we suppose to destroy the media and all other backed up files it may contain?

Hi endsormeans,

I've been scouring these forums and the internet in general for days looking for the Garnet VM deb file for my N810 (aka garnet-vm_1.0.6b_ITOS2008_armel.deb). I can find just about every other version but this one... I noticed in several threads you mentioned that you might have a copy of this file. Do you think you might be able to please share this with me? I've spent countless hours searching every avenue I can think of, always ending up at shifty sites or dead links, and I'm beginning to think there simply is no available link anywhere at all...

So do you think you could please kindly help me out here?
I would appreciate your time and assistance so very much. I'm a newcomer here and I'm unable to private message you (and from what I've read, you're also unable to private message me), however, I'm willing to risk putting my spare email account here for convenience - atfinnthehumanman (at hotmail dot com).

Anyways, thank you again for hearing me out. I hope to hear from you soon!

- Finn.

Finn, once you have enough posts to enable PMs, you could try sending a PM to Addison (see: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=84154) maybe he has PM email notification turned on...

Double negative, you do have it!

I have the file and would love to share, but it was never available for public download, therefore I can't.

Thanks everyone for responding so quickly!

That's a shame, but I understand - it seems quite the elusive file! I may message Addison about it once I'm able to PM other users, until then, looks like I'll be forced to use the older betas with my clock turned back.

Thank you anyways guys, I do appreciate it, and I'm sure it'll turn up somewhere eventually.
