For those that are interested, engadget has a review up for the N1.

The result is that the phone is a very well executed device, but a pretty familiar experience nonetheless.

Looks nice.. good to see google improving the Android..

Still no keyboard though. Thus.. still just a toy.

Now we get the answer we've all really been waiting for....will Google and HTC handle their shipping and delivery better than Nokia. Any guesses? Anyone?

From what I've heard, it's shipping now direct from Google: http://www.google.com/phone

Oh I know, I meant people actually getting them, availability, selling out, all that nonsense. I know they didn't do a pre-order, so can't really compare, but still...it's a little bit of a measure of a company's customer service. That's all.

From google.com/phone

Unlocked Nexus One Phone $529.00
Buy the phone without service and insert your own SIM card. Includes a Nexus One phone case, wall charger, and USB cable. Free shipping in the continental US.

T-Mobile $179.00
The Nexus One Phone with T-Mobile Even More individual 500 Plan. You must be eligible for service and accept a new two year contract to qualify for this pricing. Existing T-Mobile customers may qualify for upgrade pricing. Show more.

The price is ok. Although I bought an n900, I did not open it yet. I may get a Nexus One due to its Java like development environment.

Information for anyone that is considering the Nexus One. You may want to look at the following link if your deciding between buying it unlocked versus from TMobile. The end price difference is huge!
