Anyway Speaker Auto Switcher works and answering cals so it is not Proximity sensor. Search continues...

And that slight screen dim works too so I do not think its hardware?
Also I have uninstalled Status Menu Extensions 0.1.0 but that did not help.

I must lock screen always manually. It stays on till battery is emty...

Reflash, that will prove hardware vs software once and for all...

Proximity sensor problems in first post still not solved? Did you enable screen blanking when you had status menu extensions hence the lock screen stays on? Can you install GConfik and check for the gconf values?


Let's hold on for a few minutes If it gets fixed good if not fair enough time to do a reflash...
