I checked out the specs and what shocked me is that the Lumia 900 is a bigger phone than N9/Lumia 800 and has LTE yet it's thinner than the N9/L-800! The lumia 900 is 11.5 mm while the N9/L-800 is 12.1 mm?! How'd they manage that?

Ummm, by having greater total volume to fit in the components? Lumia 900 has total volume of 100.7cm³, N9/Lumia 800 has total volume of 86.3cm³, or almost 15% less than the Lumia 900. That, plus the fact that Lumia 900 doesn't have curved screen (shaves off almost half a millimeter) and you draw your own conclusion on how they managed to make it 'thinner'.

In real life, tho, one would not be able to notice a difference of 0.6mm on a device of such size anyway.

Well... since I opened up my big mouth, this is the Nokia WP7 phone I'll buy.

Just in time too... finding my N9's novelty wearing off and hopefully will get a fresh release of video conferencing Skype on WP7 whereas I might not get it on the N9.

The Lumia 900 looks really good. Really good. I am loving the N9, but who wouldn't be tempted by the apps and user experience that the Lumia 900 seems poised to deliver? Wow. The Elop, Microsoft, AT&T master plan comes into full view.

Sorry, nothing can make me replace my N900 for that piece of junk.

I irrationally fear Windows kernels running in my pocket, my N9 does me fine.

This is utter crap next to the HTC TiTAN (II has 16MP camera, larger battery and LTE).
