WTF!?!?? Are they using Scratchbox!? !? Ashole Intel killed scratchbox in favour of that damn OpenSuse tbuild system in Meego and and wiped out scratchbox in Meego even if Nokia people wantd to continue with DEB + scratchbox!??

Dont come say they use Debian packaging also? Because if thats the case I wonder if Intel WANTED Nokia to fail with Meego from the start!?

Its start be intresteing but GET THE DAMN QT AS OFFICIAL SUPPORTED AND I WILL BY TIZEN DEVICES! but never before.

i dont think so.. INTEL from the beginning(now we have samsung too) is the only one truly committed to MeeGo he will never do such cheap thing to NOKIA

No, they use scratchbox 2, which is very different from scratchbox 1.

Also, Mer uses sb2 as well. Together with OBS, too.

I think Tizen uses OBS as well, not for apps, but for OS dev:

Intels Meego == Moblin codebase, and how much of that do you see in N9!? Nokia should have continued with Maemo6 instead. Well actually that was what they did in the end...

Dont try too rewrite history or make Intel the "good ones".
Its just bussiness as usual and both failed with Meego.

Now Intel/Samsung is doing same mistake again if they dont include QtQuick as standard components, because that IS what FOSS want.

Right now Tizen is just another Android OS that will only release one phone or maybe tablet and then die.

Seriously Tizen right now is:

* HTML5 compatible
* Android compatible

And Maemo6 Harmattan is:

* HTML5 compatble
* QT compatible.

If tizen added official support for Qt everyone would win on it!

Ok, thanks for clarify.

So they still use OBS? Checking tizen homepages gives to little info what stuff is used. And how to build image etc..

hmm.. thanks for information... you are right i might be bad @History..
but IMHO, MeeGo Never Fail & Neither did N9

its just Nokia Quit early(too early)

& IMHO(part-2) Nokia shouldn't have Quit on MeeGo

Qt is not a must for tizen. It's a must for you mikecomputing.. Tizen can move without Qt or add it later if needed.
