Forget to mention that I've already tried that out as well, still no luck

Does anyone has the .deb file for me?

mine updated smoothly just but downloading the new version and installing over it.

changelog from the store:

- all gestures disabled if there are multiple simultaneous calls

- idle power consumption no longer affected

- indicates correct status when application is started quickly after device boot.

Can anyone post updated .deb file, this isn't available in Ovi store for my region. I originally installed from the 1.0.0 deb posted earlier in this thread, but would love to update to the latest version

Here you are: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/73234139/ea....0.0_armel.deb

For me update via OVI was not working. But direct install of the .deb was OK.

Are you sure this is the latest version? When I installed it it's still showing up as 1.0.0...

If you can't update via OVI for easy answer, do this:

[1] Disable Easy Answer by launching the app -> turn it off.
[2] Close any settings window in the background.
[3] Go to OVI store and update it.

This applies to every application ...maybe this is the cons of true multitasking experience

@damuffinman
Yes, positive. I just checked what is the last .deb installed in ash history. Mine EasyAnswer shows 1.1.0
Although currently in OVI is this file: http://store.ovi.com/content/275929/download/

Anyway - I notice battery life is back to normal with latest version of EA.
