Hi,

I was just wondering if there was any project to create a mini-video editor for the N900 to do quick edits of the videos that the phone shoots?

Maybe something like PiTiVi that is based on Gstreamer; or maybe start on something more simple like DikDik that uses Qt4?

Or maybe there is already an application that I haven't seen.

There was one that was discussed at the Barcelona Event... there should be a link somewhere.. can't remember where though...
Just search for it, there was a WiKi page on maemo.org...

Thanks for that, I found the flash mockup here it looks great but it would look even better if there was a sign of an alpha

btw, is there a working version of mencoder in the mplayer package? it would provide some very basic features like cut off the end of a clip etc.

That looks EPIC! What is needed to actually have this app released in Ovi/Maemo.org?? I have never seen something so full and rich and quite frankly.. simple! Please tell me this will actually come to the n900 as a paid app or SOMETHING!
