Hi, my N900 just got back from NCC, and they said they swap the entire motherboard except the external casing..

Now there's a problem.
I can't open the backup from the backup app, even though there is clearly a backup file in the microsd..

It says "No backups available"

I tried to copy the backup folder to N900 (MyDocs) but it still won't read it... Rebooting gives same result as well

Finally i tried to use PC suite, but only Contacts was restored...
Conversations was not, and it's very important for me to restore conversations because all my clients data are in there..

Is there any solution for this?

I noticed the backup files generally contain folders started with "Root" then /home/user or /var/lib

Is it safe to copy this manually to their respective folders via x-term or filebox?

Did you copy the complete 'backups' folder to MyDocs? in the backups folder there needs to be another folder with your backup files.

Like this: /MyDocs/Backups/*yourbackupnamefolder*/
Also, is there a backup.metadata file in *yourbackupnamefolder* ?
