you will have to install easydebian from extras, download the estel's image from qole's server and folow the wiki instructions to make squeeze run properlly and then apt-get install avidemux from inside debian chroot.

is it possible to use avidemux without easy debian? i mean like a chromium.

Have you tried using this http://store.ovi.com/content/271924 with MeeCoLay?

It says it's opensource so porting could be an option too.

Did you get video editor with Meecolay? Are there any video editor for N900 working?

I found this https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/maveric...4.4-0.3ubuntu1
but I don't know depends of that package,can we find them in our repositories
