From the hand of our Super (pun intended) Moderator Drexx I introduce you to our n900 Automatikwlan.

Automatikwlan is an application that automates the task of obtaining key WLAN_XX the run from the icon in the menu will, of course once installed, select the one that you want to achieve and when they have, in addition to a sound alert, we created in the folder automatikwlan (home / user / MyDocs / automatikwlan) a note with a name to find the key inside.

The steps I have followed and works perfectly:

DOWNLOAD

Once you extract the file downloaded:

Copies 1, the content, depending on the kernel you decide to use, inside the folder on the n900,
bearing in mind that if you have to use neopwn kernel must copy the following report, home / user / MyDocs.

2 º Run the Repository Phonesfera for Nokia N900 so that you add the catalog
this you will need to be able to continue with the next step.

3 º Log in to X-Terminal and type (if still connected to internet):

Code:
• sudo gainroot
• apt-get install aircrack-ng
• apt-get install zenity
• apt-get install libpcap0.8
• apt-get install easy-chroot
4 º Now run Automatikwlan for n900 and we install the application.

5 ° This will depend on the kernel we want to use (I should clarify that or install the maemo or the Neopwn)

For maemo kernel (recommended)

Sign in X-Terminal, but you're out, and write (while connected to internet):

Code:
• sudo gainroot
• cd / home / user / MyDocs
• dpkg-i kernel-power_2.6.28-maemo40_armel.deb
• dpkg-i kernel-power-modules_2.6.28-maemo40_armel.deb
• dpkg-i kernel-power-flasher_2.6.28-maemo40_armel.deb
For those of Neopwn

Sign in X-Terminal, but you're out, and write (while connected to internet):

Code:
• sudo gainroot
• apt-get install kernel-power_2.6.28-maemo40-wl1_armel.deb
• apt-get install kernel-power-modules_2.6.28-maemo40-wl1_armel.deb
• apt-get install kernel-power-flasher_2.6.28-maemo40-wl1_armel.deb
6 º It is so easy it was, you just have to see how you get your passwords in a simple way.

As a note to tell you that with the standard kernel only look networks on channel 6, which is solved with these kernel

Acknowledgements Drexx alfon6 and whitewolf for this fantastic application

Funny, you're distributing the kernel which is GPL-licensed on a repo without a source for it, and you're asking others to keep it in your own repo?

Our General Public Licenses are designed to make sure that you have the freedom to distribute copies of free software (and charge for them if you wish), that you receive source code or can get it if you want it, that you can change the software or use pieces of it in new free programs, and that you know you can do these things.
This post is a request for the source, otherwise this will be reported.

You are free to do whatever you want with your app, but not with the kernel (GPL) if there's no source code for it.

This does not work, followed all the instructions, does the n900 need a restart to activate the kernal?
