i dont know if some one has already mentioned it or not but still ...
i and some other noobs tried to ask for an application or an easy way to reboot the phone after every installed application and they suggested x-terminal but last night as i was kinda playing with the application "SMSCON" i came up with the simplest solution to reboot your phone through "SMSCON" after every installed app.

enjoy !

p.s i dont know how to attach the link to "SMSCON" app here !

If that's really a concern, could you just restart the hildon-desktop from xterm without killing your battery with a reboot?

BME is often inaccurate after restart, using phone for 10-15 minutes it should hopefully show a more realistic battery level.
