Why do programmers get Christmas and Hallowe'en confused?

Because Oct 31 = Dec 25.

Seasonal *and* geeky - the perfect joke...

You guys crack me up!

Anyway, satisfied with 16?

Do you have other comments / improvement ideas for xterm? If you do, they just might appear on the next release!

16 should be plenty - thanks!

There are several bugs filed against xterm in bugzilla - it would be nice to see those fixed before new features are added.

A proper CTRL option would be great; click CTRL, type any characters, hit CTRL again, and entire sequence is sent (or something similar)

Right now it's buggy and only allows entry of one character.

I'd also like to see an option to disable the keyboard for mouse-aware ncurses applications.

Yeah, we'll get the bugs fixed before / at the same time as implementing new features.

I'll take that control issue into account. It's an issue on n800, right?

One feature request - on an N800, when pressing CTRL on the toolbar it pops up a dialog box where I'm supposed to enter the letter (ie. D) to go with the CTRL modifier. Even though the input box has focus when the dialog appears, it's necessary to tap the input box with the stylus in order to bring up the vkb.

It would be really good if the vkb appeared simultaneously along with the dialog box meaning I don't have to tap the input field and make it appear. It's not a major problem, but it feels a bit half-arsed the way it currently works.

I think it's more of an OS2008 issue, but a bigger problem with the N800 due to the lack of a dedicated hardware CTRL key.

Good point Millhouse. I'll try to get that fixed.
