Dont know if someome has allready sais this, but how about the fm-transmitter mod for cssu? It wouldnt harm anyone because you could choose if you need to use unlocked freqs plus everyone would get the boost and clearer sound

Spellcheck for the email client would be nice (and even nicer in other programs - such as fMobi, web browser, etc.)

I really need proxy authentication feature for network config.
The only net connection available for me is my collage wlan which is under proxy with ISA server.
buil-in Browser works and pop-up for user+pass but other applications would not.
I think its an issue for many users.
Any 3rd party apps suggestion appreciated.

I know this is a huge project but we need to replace the MicroB layout engine with the most recent version of Gecko.
This is basically a security issue - the Gecko version used by MicroB is so old that it has numerous unpatched and well-known security vulnerabilities. This makes attacks against N900 users very easy.

add portrait address typing in microb
enhance the vkbd: there should be some screen above it, e.g. in microb we could select the google while vkbd typing

After enabling forced rotation thru CSSU features, following applications don`t match the screen resolution in portrait mode.

1. Conversations
2. Media Player
3. Clock

Secondly, when you open contacts in the portrait mode, you have to keep scrolling to find the contact (try finding a contact starting from R,S,T). If we can have a feature similar to Horizontal Call http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=56533 where finding a contact is much easier, it will be very useful.

Hope to see the above issues resolved in next upgrade. In case there is already a solution & I missed it, plz let me know.

1. remove portrait mode

(and free those resources for other possible tasks)

The ability to customize language and region settings would be great.
I for one would like to have English (US) language settings and weekday/month names, Swedish date order, while being able to customize decimal separators .

/etc/osso-af-init/locale
