i'd blow the lot on a wild weekend of booze drugs and womanising, and still be happy with my n900 on monday morning.

Posting quickly, before someone tags this thread with "glory hole" (thanks for making me look that up guys, now I'm scarred for life)

Xoom, hands down. I'd have spent them on a Maemo tablet with a 5'' screen a year ago, but nobody made one...

go for Gold rather than the stock market you will then have a choice for US$1300 tablet / device.

Ubuntu as a possible native OS with a Cortex A9? Now we're talkin'! And you'll almost be able to buy three for $1000. I hope they're just not teasin'.

My ipad is awesome, ive gotta say that, the os is super slick and the HD quality of video is great, but my fav toy at the moment is the galaxy tab because its just like a big phone, easily rooted and easy to install hundreds of cracked apps, but if i had to choose 1 toy to be shipwrecked with it would still be my n900

My answer is that it would not be a tablet, but a slider or netvertible, i need included keyboard. The 2 sliders shown at CES2011 looked nice, but will be released in May

Fair enough, as I have been stoked with my n900 for over a year now. My 'problem' is I use it too much, I surf the web a lot on it at home.

This is really affecting my vision and eyes as the screen is so small...

I'f for nothing else, I will use a tablet for web browsing whilst sitting on the couch, my n900 can continue to do the rest.

I see the WeTab will allow for a Meego OS to evolve on it.

Now I have to convince myself why a tablet is any better that a slimline dual core laptop that I can get for the same price....?
