Is there any app that based on your gps location will show you all the local attractions from parks to restaurants etc...similar to Places on Android etc

Would be great to have this i think

Jaffa made a version of Here and Now available for Maemo 5 over a year ago. Have you tried it?

Yeah have this, sadly its limited to just Michelin Guide and lonely planet but mostly it finds nothing near by me no matter where i am.

Also its a web browser app....i would be hoping for a full fledged app, with reviews etc built in.

Modrana has some of that functionality, albeit as separate POI category searches.

thats true but that is a very heavy app and slow too to use quickly.... I guess there is nothing really.

Ill have ask Tommi of Twimgo to make one...he is very good like that lol

Casual services (cservices) works well - try it out.

there is also earthcomber in the ovi store free app

just tried to get this but not available in my region.....the name 'Earth' in the title is very misleading lol
