then chmod desktopgen... Dang! I forgot where it is located... Could you check if its on /usr/bin or /opt/preenv?

1st make sure you run it as user not root.
2nd again chmod 777 the exe file of the game you extracted. It should be located at the same folder where the .json file is or inside another subfolder. You would identify it anyways as its name is the name of the game and without any extensions.
