Still, knowing Google, it is only a matter of time until they break one of the APIs modRana actually is using.
For example both the local search and routing APIs already had to be fixed/switched once.

It is really, really sad.
I am using several apps that to my understand are using Google earths services. EasyStreet view, Meego/Jollaopas, Omat pysäkit to name a few... Actually majority on any programs giving you public info somehow related to maps seem to be affected. Or is google maps a totally different api? I hope I am greatly wrong. Of course services like OpenStreet maps are there, but how many old apps will be updated, I wonder...
