Actually that's surprising...I have torrential installed too and no issues...

MeeNu did you check maybe torrential wasn't installed correctly? Next time try posting the output you get from terminal when installation failes to find out what was the real cause...

It worked in the latest version; what was the fix earlier was some typo i think from me i.e. after typing localhost I had a space which should not be there meaning it should be just "localhost"

The above is at least what I think was the issue; it could have been something else too but I can't remember it well but i do know it was a small issue only...

Is there a way to change the download location to /home/user/MyDocs instead of /home/user ? The download limits upto 2.1GB only

sure!

just open the transmission web interface and under settings change the download location....
