I was really starting get my hopes up about the N900 as a solution for my contacts/calendar sync in linux. But the threads that I have seen on how to set that up are way too complicated for me.

Is there a user friendly way to do a basic PC sync without using the google cloud? a qwerty device would be ideal, but I'm about ready to try anything. Any advice/comments are much appreciated.
