open terminal.
type

devel-su
enter password

fsck /dev/mmcblk1p1
...

hmm.
Code:
fsck.vfat: not found
Guess I'll have to try that ob my PC...

EDIT: File system check and repair on PC did the trick. Works fine now.

Just a light & final *BUMP*....
If this thread doesn't float it doesn't float, & the main threads will have to continue being derailed occasionally.
Not that this thread is a "Panacea" to that problem...

I appreciate your iniciative to create the other thread, although I think I saw something very similar created by Dave999, except that your title is better :-)

Not sure what's wrong with this one though, aside from the occasional derailing, it's a lot more stable than other threads that are related to Jolla. I still see valid questions, but most importantly, I see good reviews.

I do think that this thread has limited life though, as there are only a few thousand devices out there, there are still questions and people seek for feedback here. In my case, this thread is the candidate to post my opinion about Jolla as soon as it becomes my main phone, which then I'll link it somehow to Jolla folks so that they get feedback. If Jolla still gathers interest and they sell more devices, we won't need this any more and we'll have separate topics per question.

It's all good I think, or at least passably good :-)

Yeah just trying to keep things slightly more laser-focused, I do think the area digressed to recently is a important/legit discussion, hence the thread dedicated to it.
It benefits everyone when things are slightly better organised in that way, but it's not a huge deal, folks can take it or leave it if they want...

I found a simple way to automatically mount micro-sd card on boot with an ext4 filesystem.

devel-su
nano -w /usr/sbin/mount-sd.sh
change the line
mount $SDCARD $MNT -o uid=$DEF_UID,gid=$DEF_GID
into
mount $SDCARD $MNT
All my Music and Images are automatically tracked. I changed the user of all Files and Directories to nemo : privileged.

In order to initialize the tracking, i had to reset the tracker and started it after mounting the sdcard. This is only necessary, if the music does not automatically appear in media.
tracker-control -r
tracker-control -s
I created also a symlink to /home/nemo/sdcard.

I am able to upload Music to the sdcard on my linux pc using kio-mtp.

Hello,

I got iGO Primo 9.6.22.317625 - 25 Jul 2013 to install on my Jolla. I have some trouble with the GPS position when navigating. The position indicator jumps to the near roads especially if you are in a city. Do you have this problem also? Is there a solution?

Thanks.

I'm happy to see that there are apps getting released every day, apps that I didn't realise existed even. I've downloaded some pretty useful ones so far like Network Monitor, Tethering and Tiny Todo.

Importing contacts seemed to be easy for you but not possible for me yet. You say you installed 'Files'... is that an app? I could not find an app called 'Files' in Yandex-Store nor in Jolla-Store. Can you please clarify? Thank you!!
