And the last one for today:
It would be nice if import checked if feed URL is already in the list.

No, you can't rename categories, only delete them and recreate.

To disable logging, you can edit the debugging.py file (in /opt/FeedingIt if I remember correctly) to add:
level = logging.CRITICAL
just before the line #78:
logging.basicConfig(
Note that the indentation (number of spaces) does matter, and should be on the same level as that line.

And thanks for the suggestion and bug reports. But just to set expectations, I'm fairly unlikely to take the time to fix it at this point.

Looks like categories problem was the id field type being text, s/id text/id int/g and removing feeds.db helped, check the attached patches.

P.S. Looks like noone ever had more than 10 categories. It was reproducible just by adding 11th category.

Thanks, you're right that categories id should be int. However, your patch also modifies the other tables (feed,feeds, image) which use a text id.
The categories is a feature I added very late, and that didn't end up being used much (as far as I know), so I am not surprised at all there has never been more than 10, and that there are bugs with that.

Used it was but 10 is a large number of categories for my simple mind

FeedingIt remains used gratefully...

Appreciate this is an old thread, but does anyone know where I can get hold of FeedingIt RSS reader? It is not in Warehouse.

Alternatively, any other decent RSS reader where I can import an OPML file?

I don't know if you can call it a decent RSS reader, but I'm starting to play around with Linguine again. Right now it only runs on the N900, though, and it doesn't (yet) support OPML, though I could probably fix that...
