Just got one on ebay for £113 including standard shipping and the seller has good feedback apart from a few - I think he may be refurbishing handsets.

However, is it worth it ?.

very worth it. you can do so much with the device even after it's usefulness as a handheld has worn off.

I like the fact that you ask after you have buy the device.

Not paid yet however a few have claimed the handsets are used or faulty, I'll just check warranty with Nokia.

Here's another

I also bought a new one from Hong Kong on ebay. It came with a screen protector already fitted (no bubbles) and so far it has performed flawlessly. The only issue I found was when I checked the OS version it was the African one. It didn't take long to get the UK specific version flashed.

I got one from the same seller but thought these were good refurbs, since shipping to a friend in the US and then remailing took so long paypal protection was over.
The phone wouldnt take a flash after serious crashing and non functional apps and I now have a $200 brick.

You bidded in an auction for an item that you are not sure if you want to pay for?

As a seller I can tell you that this is a pretty $h1tty thing for buyers to do. This is also one of the biggest reasons why sellers put restrictions such as "will not sell to anyone with minimum of X" on items they sell, which in turn limits their potential customers.

These restrictions also bugs the hell out of the casual buyer who miss out on autions too because a seller has been dicked around too often by none committing winning bidders.

I'm tempted to get contact with the seller and show him your thread.
