Would be the hight of irony. Still quite possible in my eyes.
First Jolla have to survive the first year... Some said it means they have to sell atleast > 500 000 devices year 2014.

Rumors said they had around 50 000 preorders...

so lets see what happens first...

Tried to find a link, but I remember somebody from Jolla was talking about 100 000 phones and them being fine.
I can't see 500 000 happening.

I have to say even 100 000 is an impressive number. I doubt they have even 30 000 atm.

Absolutely. 100 000 is a huge challenge, but at least a number of phones I can imagine them selling if all goes well.
Half a million is way out of their reach in a year. Unknown brand, with miniscule global distribution compared to any other brand and a device running on a OS nobody has ever heard about.

No, Nokia is the joke.

Nokia dropped the ball with cool tech like IR and Audio transmitter. Samsung has half of the ball since they have IR in all their new phones and tablets. Waiting for Audi transmitter as well.

Lets hope Newkia can give the excluded features another GO.
