Yes, me too
The real and only 'smart phone' made by Nokia (besides the Maemo devices). But the downfall of Nokia started with this device. It came out way too late and it was missing touch input, even display rotation detected by sensor was not implemented. N97 was a joke (slow, unreliable HW, lot of quirks, ...)

Maybe N8 would have been a nice one, too. But at that time I was already lost to Maemo!

I ordered a 1020 to my wife a couple of days ago only to get the Pure View tecnic

I'll prolly be back on the radar for one if a 1020 successor is delayed for longer than I expected, or cancelled completely.
In the meantime, I'm fairly happy with my 1020 as a secondary smartphone...
