I've learned from that this does in fact work in the US... I've yet to see it unfortunately, but now that I am armed with a new GPS (Nokia LD-3W) I'm very excited to try it

can you post a n800 navicore video on youtube ?


is it really fluid in 3D mode (as tomtom hardware navigation) or not ?

about the installation, the navicore kit come's with DVD or sd preinstalled card ?

how do you process to install it on n800 ?

I would love to do a video, but have yet to see it. From what I understand the entire US comes on a 2GB card so in theory (to be confirmed) you don't need to have a data connection to get the maps rolling as you drive which will be quite nice.

oki , it's good , but the speed , isn't so good

i'm surprised that the navicore speed is slow on n800 ..

the 3d navigation .. there is 1 or 2 frame rate...

how does it compare to other standalone GPS systems if you've used them? I have a TomTom...

One point per second is the most common GPS data rate. Some models can be configured to transmit five points per second, usually for specialized applications like race car performance monitoring, but this is uncommon.
