Uh-oh, that leaves me out.

Welcome to the Android army!

Been there before, on the front lines. I got a G1 on pre-order, one of the very 1st ones. Didn't much like Android then and I still don't. I'm not happy about doing this. But for the reasons I outlined in the 1st post, for now it will have to do for my main phone. And the G2 hardware is nice.

But like I also said, as soon as there's a capable MeeGo phone with suitable hardware available, if ever, I'll be all over it. I'd toss Android out like a bad apple in a minute.

after using my N900 for about 7 months, i upgraded to a nexus one.

about four months later i upgraded again, to an N900.

android felt too kid-safe for me.

and android has nothing like maemo's solution for dealing with multiple IM/voip accounts.

now that the community has "finished" maemo, i am in love.

I do depend on my phone heavily to run my business, plus I have no land line at home. But those links are old news. And I'm not fool enough to use SMS for business purposes. Unprofessional anyway.

Good for you. I am going to go with the HTC Pyramid if the specs meet expectations. These friggin android phones always have such little onboard storage. Lets hope this one is different.

Well OP, I have made the same sin as you.

The G2 came at a very low price, so I sold my N900 for €175, and bought the G2 for €250.
I just couldn't compete with my "android-curiosity".

Ahhh...but your sin is worse. Read my posts again. I still have my N900. And I wasn't curious about Android, I already knew I wouldn't much like it. I'm just kinda stuck with it - for now. And I like the G2 hardware.

You are NOT absolved.
